October isn’t just a month for candy, costumes and the eventual fun of trick or treating, it’s also the month before Thanksgiving. October and November are months that we begin to think of the best ways to give back to the community.
Before the leaves are completely gone and the turkey comes out, we’d like to talk a bit about what we’re doing to help the Greater Cleveland community. How can you help us make a difference this year? Keep reading to find out more!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This month, we wear pink!
For October, all of our commercial technicians are wearing pink for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth in hopes that we can help raise awareness about the most common cancer affecting women in the United States. Part of working within a community like ours, means we know people whose lives have been deeply affected by breast cancer. Many of our sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and nieces are at risk of having breast cancer, and we want to remind everyone to stay vigilant this month.
Cleveland Food Bank Donations
It’s food drive time!

Westland Heating & Air Conditioning is collecting non-perishable foods from now until November 11th for the Greater Cleveland Foodbank. If you’ve got any leftover canned, boxed, or preserved food, make sure to get in touch with us when we’re providing your HVAC service this autumn. Let’s make a difference in the community and help as much as we can!
